This is one of a set of silk screen prints. With silk screen, the image is slowly built up using layers of colour and carefully cut vellum masks to get the final forms. It is a painstaking process but can produce wonderful results.

I was after the feel and style of the wonderful turn-of-the-century holiday posters for Candian Pacific.
