Miserond is an illustration for the story in E-scape by Mark W. Tiedemann.

The story is about a couple who exist together on a space station observing and interacting with the odd space-time distortions of a black hole. Within the story is the repeating image of pairs of matter and anti-matter particles coming into existence spontaneously, as they do in reality.

The figures were composed in Poser, rendered in RayDream Studio and the final image was assembled in Corel PhotoPaint.
